New Resin Bound Driveway and Path
A very elegant drive that really enhances the look of the client's house.
What the Client Wanted
The client contacted us asking if we could resurface their driveway so that it was less maintenance for them.
The client originally had an existing shingle drive, which they were happy with, but required too much maintenance for them to continue with. This meant that they ideally wanted to keep the same style of driveway but use something that was a lot less maintenance than gravel.
With this in mind, we suggested a resin bound driveway that would look similar to their original driveway, but not need replenishing regularly.
The client was pleased with this solution, so agreed to use this material for their new driveway.
What We Did
In order to carry out this project, we needed to take up existing edgings and reshape the driveway into a slightly different layout as specified by the client. We then laid new stock brick edgings and altered the level between the driveway and the main road to stop water collecting on the drive.
The final stage was to lay a tarmac base to the driveway, and add a resin bound surface. The client wanted to see samples of the different colours of resin we provided, which we were happy to provide.
The Final Results
As you can see from these photos, the new resin bound driveway complements the style of house perfectly.
